Kamini Kisto
Kami is the business owner operator who in July 2021, realised her dream and opened her own barber shop. Kami has extensive barbering experience and prior to opening her own shop worked for a local chain of barber shops for the last seven years. She has a great attention to detail and provides second to none customer service. Kami is across all new styles and trends and specialises in Zero fade, Skin fade, Hot towel shave and can style African hair.
Vashish Pem
Vashish started barbering at 12 years of age learning the basics while working at his grandfather’s salon. Vashish is a third generation barber who carries on a longstanding family tradition. While training with his father Vashish obtained a Diploma in Hairdressing and Barbering from Sasha which is one of the most prestigious hairdressing schools in Mauritius. Vashish is a talented barber and with his creative flair brings a unique skill set to the table.
Rand Yona
Rand is a top-class Barber who has worked in the industry for over ten years. She brings extensive knowledge of barbering to the table specialising in fades and style cuts. She was originally trained in the Middle East before coming to Australia and has worked in shops,s mainly north of the river. Rand worked with Kami before Kami's Barbershop opened in 2021, and we are delighted to have a proven, top-notch Barber as part of our team.
Erik Elison
Erik came to Australia from Bali 8 years ago to continue his career in Barbering. He is a master of his trade with 16 years of experience under his belt. He has a broad skill set having worked at various shops in Midland, Joondalup, and Yanchep.
Masroor Jaumeer
Masroor qualified as a Hairdresser/ Barber in 2018 and went on to own and run his own Barber shop in Mauritius. Masroor is also a graduate of Sasha which is one of the most prestigious hairdressing schools in Mauritius. Masroor came to Australia to in 2024, and has already proven himself to be an exceptionally talented Barber. Masroor is across all aspects of barbering and been able to show a mastery of the art.
Brock Roberts
Brock is a junior Barber and has worked at Kami’s Barbershop for the last 2.5 years. During this time he has built an amazing skill set having worked his way up from Salon Assistant. He is a master of his craft having learned from our next level team of senior barbers.
